The Africa CDC Pathogen Genomics Initiative (Africa PGI), under the Centre for Laboratory Diagnostics and Systems, is pleased to announce 100 short-term fellowships for national public health laboratories and affiliated institutions in African Union Member States. This fellowship program is part of Africa CDC's ongoing efforts to strengthen and expand the bioinformatics workforce across the continent. The fellowship program aims to enhance the bioinformatics capacity of public health practitioners in Africa through intensive short courses, enabling them to effectively analyze and interpret genomic data for public health decision-making.

This questionnaire will be used to assess applicants' capabilities and eligibility for the fellowship program. Duration:

Typically 2-12 weeks, depending on the program.

Eligibility:

Citizens or residents of specific regions (e.g., African Union Member States for Africa CDC).
