The Give1Project, Concordia University, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have partnered to launch the second cohort of the Regional Cybersecurity Training Programme, targeting 150 young individuals from West and Central Africa.ives.
This initiative builds on the success of its first cohort, which began in 2023 with a pilot group of 22 participants, many of whom have since secured employment or are leading digital initiatives.
The program aims to equip youth with critical cybersecurity skills to enhance digital resilience and unlock employment opportunities in the region’s growing digital economy.
Applications for the 2025 cohort are open, with a deadline of April 17, 2025, and eligibility includes being aged 18–35, a university graduate, and passionate about cybersecurity.
The training will combine virtual and, where applicable, in-person sessions to ensure accessibility, particularly for those in rural or underserved areas.
