The FAO-PAFO Youth Mentorship Program is a collaborative initiative between the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Pan-African Farmers’ Organization (PAFO) aimed at empowering Africa’s youth in agriculture. 

It connects young agripreneurs and farmers with experienced mentors to build their skills, knowledge, and networks in the agri-food sector. 

The program emphasizes sustainable agriculture, innovation, and entrepreneurship, targeting young individuals eager to drive change in Africa’s agricultural landscape.

To support youth in agriculture through mentorship, capacity-building workshops, and networking.

Young African producers, agripreneurs, and those involved in agriculture-related fields.

Applications are open now, with a deadline of March 3, 2025. The program runs from March to September 2025.

Participants are paired with experts in agriculture, agribusiness, and rural development.
