The "Enterprise for Youth in Agriculture" programs are designed to engage young people in agricultural activities, promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and employment in the sector.

Purpose: These programs aim to train unemployed youth and women in modern agricultural practices, particularly focusing on vegetable production (Olericulture) using advanced technology. 

The goal is to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to start or enhance their own agricultural enterprises.

Technological Integration: The initiatives often incorporate technologies like greenhouse farming, soilless farming (hydroponics), machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) tools for irrigation and nutrient management, and integrated pest management strategies.

Training: Participants undergo comprehensive training sessions that might include both theoretical and practical components. This training can cover topics from basic agricultural practices to business management, marketing, and digital skills.

Implementation: After training, participants are often grouped to manage projects or start-ups, sometimes with direct access to farming plots, equipment, or business support like market linkages and financial assistance.

Mentorship: Many programs pair young participants with mentors who have experience in agribusiness, providing guidance through the entrepreneurial journey.

Specific Initiatives:

1. Nigeria's "Enterprise for Youth in Agriculture Program":
2. Target: Unemployed youths and women aged between 18-29 years.
3. Methodology: Quarterly admissions of 1000 students each, grouped into teams of 50 to work on agricultural projects using technologies like hydroponics and AI for crop management.
