The MoFund Africa Impact Academy is a program designed to support African small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and non-profits by creating an enabling environment for growth and impact. 

It’s a collaborative initiative between MoFund Africa and USIU-Africa (United States International University-Africa), aimed at equipping these organizations with the tools, strategies, and knowledge they need to scale their work effectively.

The academy focuses on empowering participants to strengthen their operations, enhance their impact, and address the unique challenges they face in the African context.

This program aligns with MoFund Africa’s broader mission to empower African non-profits and social enterprises, particularly in sectors like health, agrifood, education, energy, and economic empowerment. 

It emphasizes building internal capacities—think branding, business models, and fundraising strategies—while fostering connections with African philanthropists and grant makers. 

The idea is to channel support to locally-led solutions, encouraging a sense of ownership and sustainability.
