The Barau I Jibrin Foundation is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and providing educational opportunities to deserving graduates of Kano State. Notably, the foundation, under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Barau I. Jibrin, CFR, the Deputy President of the Senate, has recently sponsored 70 students for master's degree programs abroad.

This initiative underscores our commitment to fostering academic excellence and empowering deserving graduates of Kano State to achieve their educational and professional aspirations.

Building on the success of sponsoring 70 students for master’s degree programs abroad, the Foundation will now support 300 outstanding graduates to pursue their postgraduate studies in renowned universities across Nigeria.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify, applicants must:

1. Be under 35 years old
2. Hold a first degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines with a CGPA of 3.5 or above (on a 5.0 scale)
3. Possess five O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics

Required Documents:

1. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
2. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
3. Academic Certificates (Primary, Secondary, Bachelor’s Degree)
4. NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter
