OBJECTIVE: 

Empower Nigerian youths with advanced technical skills

in:

1. Welding & Fabrication

2. Industrial Foundry & Metallurgy

3. Instrumentation, Systems Control & Mechanical Maintenance

BENEFITS:

ELIGIBILITY: 

Nigerian Youths (between ages 18-40) interested in the engaging productively in metals industry.

DURATION: 

One Month

APPLICATION DEADLINE:30* October,2024.

This programme aims to empower selected youths with advanced expertise in three specialized areas as detailed in the accompanying form.

Additionally, participants who successfully complete the training will receive equipment support to help them grow or expand their businesses, thereby creating job opportunities and sustainable livelihoods.  

The three training categories and their respective eligibility  criteria are as follows

Welding and Fabrication:

1. Must be a Nigerian and provide valid means of identification
2. Must be between 18 and 40 years old
3. May/may not have basic knowledge of welding.
4. Must have at least a secondary school O’ Level certificate
5. Must be able to understand and communicate in English Language
6. Must submit a statement of purpose giving reasons why he/she should be selected for the programme

Industrial Foundry and Metallurgy:

• Must be a Nigerian and provide valid means of identification
• Must be between 18 and 40 years old. 
• May/may not have basic knowledge of foundry techniques.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English Language
• Must submit a statement of purpose giving reasons why he/she should be selected for the programme

Instrumentation & control System and

Mechanical Maintenance

1. Should be a graduate of Electrical and Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
2. Must be a Nigerian an d provide valid means of identification
3. Must be between 18 and 40 years. 
4. Must be able to understand and communicate in English Language
5. Must submit a statement of purpose giving reasons why he/she should be selected for the programme

Highest Educational Qualification:

• Primary School Leaving Certificate
• Junior Secondary School Certificate
• Senior Secondary School Certificate
• Tertiary Education
