Of recent, Some members of the guild gathered at the final and special Sunday service conducted by Pastor Jerry Eze, the inspirational founder of Streams of Joy International Church, to intercede prayers for the Nigerian film industry.
It was reported that, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has called for a four-day prayer and fasting a few days after the death of Junior Pope to prevent future repetition.
The guild met in the chapel to wrap off a fasting and prayer period that lasted four days, during this period they mourned the losses that Nollywood had just suffered.
The prayer and fasting was led by Pastor Jerry Eze and the prayer lasted from May 2 to May 5.
Pastor Jerry is called on several popular Nollywood stars, including Steve Eboh, Hanks Anuku, Emeka Rollas, Patience Ozokwo, Zack Orji, Anita Joseph, Ify Okeke, Benedict Johnson, and Real Warri Pikin, to join him at the pulpit during a prayer and deliverance session, eliciting cheers from the congregation.
