If you haven't already, here's a guide on how to link your mobile number(s) to your NIN using the NIMC Mobile App:

What you'll need:

Smartphone
Your National Identity Number (NIN)

Steps:

Download the App: Head over to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download the "NIMC Mobile App".
Launch the App: Once downloaded, open the app.
Enter your NIN: Input your 11-digit NIN on the main screen.
Find your NIN (Optional): If you don't remember your NIN, you can retrieve it in two ways:
- Dial *346# on the mobile number you used during NIN registration.
- Alternatively, enter your First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth in the app's search function.
Verify your Number: The app will display the phone number linked to your NIN.
Link a Different Number (Optional): If the displayed number isn't the one you want to link, choose the option to add a new number.
Enter the New Number: Input the mobile number you want to link.
Receive a One-Time Password (OTP): You'll receive an SMS containing a verification code (OTP) on the new number.
Alternative OTP Retrieval (Optional): If you don't receive the OTP, dial 3642*Your NIN# on your phone. This will send another SMS containing a User ID and a new OTP.
Verify with OTP: Enter the received OTP in the app.
Link Confirmed: The app will confirm that your mobile number has been successfully linked to your NIN.
