JAMB Announces Registered Numbers of 2024 UTME Candidates; Deadline is Approaching

As the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) progresses into Week 4 of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration, a notable milestone has been achieved with 1,072,122 candidates successfully registered. The information was revealed in the latest weekly bulletin from the board.
Prospective candidates are urged to take note of the approaching deadline, which is set for February 26th, 2024. JAMB emphasizes that there may not be an extension, making it imperative for candidates to complete their registration within the specified timeframe.
During a tour of Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers in Ibadan, the Acting Director of the Ibadan Zonal Office, Mr. Olugbenga Akintola, reinforced the importance of adhering to JAMB's directives. He emphasized the need for full compliance, especially regarding the authentication of candidates through their profile codes and ePINs received on their mobile phones. JAMB had previously mandated all 2024 UTME candidates to display their profile codes and e-PINs, obtained through the Board's USSD code 55019 or 66019, on their mobile phones during registration. This proactive step is aimed at preventing the occurrence of common issues, including errors in candidates' vital information such as names, date of birth, and state/local government of origin.
In the past, some candidates had faced challenges due to schools inadvertently mishandling their data. Issues arising from such errors often led to the burden of filing applications for correction, a process that may not always guarantee a favorable outcome. CONTINUE READING.....

ReplyDeleteI have a problem with my email which has become a hindrance for me to register for the 2024 jamb considering the fact that I didn't use email to register when I wrote jamb 2021. What is the solution for me please.
