Moniepoint Inc. and NITHub Unilag are delighted to announce the initiation of the application process for the second cohort of the HatchDev program. This initiative is designed to cultivate the next generation of software engineers ready for the market.
The HatchDev program, spanning nine months, aims to annually produce 300 junior software engineers, 100 intelligent systems developers, and 100 IoT/embedded systems engineers. This initiative is strategically aligned with the Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy's vision of creating two million digital jobs in Nigeria, addressing the skilled tech talent gap in the country.
Participants in the HatchDev program will undergo intensive training in Front-end, Back-end, Mobile App Development, UI/UX Design, Data Science, and Embedded Systems/IoT. The curriculum includes six months of practical, hands-on training, delving into full-stack development from fundamental principles to advanced techniques.
