In a significant move towards fostering innovation and sustainable business practices, the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) is inviting applications from Curriculum Development experts with a specialization in Green Economy. This initiative aligns with TEF's mission to empower the next generation of African entrepreneurs, drive poverty eradication, catalyze job creation, and enhance women's economic empowerment across all 54 African countries.
Objectives of the Project:
The selected experts will play a pivotal role in shaping a curriculum that supports the following six goals of the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme:
1. Teaching Entrepreneurship and Green Economy Skills: Developing a comprehensive curriculum that imparts essential entrepreneurial skills alongside a focus on the Green Economy.
2. Creating Pan-African Online Resources: Building practical, actionable, and pan-African online resources in the Green Economy space.
3. Empowering with Digital Skills: Equipping entrepreneurs with the digital skills and knowledge required to launch, run, and scale successful Green Solution businesses.
4. Digitalization Foundation: Developing a strong foundation in digitalization, including knowledge of emerging technologies like IoT, AI, and data analytics, within the context of the green economy.
5. Encouraging Innovation: Fostering a mindset of innovation and creative problem-solving, encouraging entrepreneurs to leverage digital solutions for challenges in the green economy.
6. Commitment to Lifelong Learning: Cultivating a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development, emphasizing the importance of staying informed and continuously improving skills in the dynamic fields of digitalization and the green economy. CONTINUE READING.....

Selection Criteria:
1. Robust and Engaging Curriculum: The training curriculum should be robust and engaging, aimed at upskilling both startup entrepreneurs and those with existing businesses.
2. Rapid Deployment Capability: Vendors should have the capability to mobilize and deploy resources promptly for training interventions during capacity development sessions.
