In the latest developments within the N-Power community, beneficiaries from across the nation are fervently calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to reinstate Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede as the head of the N-Power program. This plea has gained momentum on social media, where NPower volunteers have expressed their desire for the return of Mr Imoukhuede to lead the program.
During Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede's tenure as the head of the NPower program from 2016 to June 2020, Batch A and B volunteers experienced a transparent selection process devoid of nepotism. The beneficiaries received their payments directly on a monthly basis without any delays, contributing to the program's success. Under his leadership, the program thrived due to Mr Imoukhuede's dedication and passion for empowering the youth. However, concerns have been raised that the program's effectiveness declined when it fell into the hands of self-serving politicians who neglected the welfare of the beneficiaries. In an effort to restore the program's integrity and success, the N-Power volunteers are urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider reinstating Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede as the head of the N-Power program.
