In a bid to catalyze the economic recovery of small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) and empower young African entrepreneurs, the Tony Elumelu Foundation proudly presents the 2024 Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP). As the foundation commemorates a decade of impactful contributions, it is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of African entrepreneurs through unparalleled opportunities.
Key Highlights:
1. Application Phase:
Open from January 1 to March 31, 2024.

2. Programme Phases:
Preparatory: For those lacking the required skillset, offering general training on TEFConnect.
Start-Up/ Beginner: Tailored for beginners, with beginner training modules and access to mentors.
Innovator/ Intermediate: For intermediate entrepreneurs showing great promise.
Disruptor/ Advanced: Recognizing natural or seasoned entrepreneurs with advanced training modules.
3. Training and Mentorship Phase:
Intensive business training and mentoring sessions.
Progress monitored through quizzes and virtual orientation programs.
Shortlisted entrepreneurs gain access to peer-to-peer support groups.
4. Business Plan Submission Phase:
Shortlisted entrepreneurs consolidate learnings into a comprehensive business and financial plan.
Successful completion required for advancing to the Pitching Competition.
5. Pitching Phase:
Entrepreneurs showcase business acumen to a panel of judges.
Excellence in pitching leads to seed capital funding and access to the Alumni network.
Training completion certificate provided for those not successful, with the opportunity to reapply next year.

6. Seed Capital Phase:
Entrepreneurs meeting all requirements open business accounts for seed capital.
Qualifying entrepreneurs receive a Certificate of Completion and Achievement from the Foundation.
