The Federal Government has recently announced a significant opportunity for Nigerian students seeking scholarships to study in Mauritius. To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must be Nigerian citizens. Undergraduates should be above 18 years of age and not have reached their 26th birthday by January 1, 2025. Postgraduate applicants should not have reached their 40th birthday by the same date. Health certificates from recognized Government Hospitals are mandatory, and a good WAEC result is required for undergraduates. For postgraduate degrees, a minimum of second class upper (2.1) is necessary.

Applicants are directed to apply for at least one full-time on-campus program at a public Higher Education Institution (HEI) listed under Section 8. They should obtain a conditional offer (letter of admission) from their chosen Mauritian public HEI and submit it along with the scholarship application. Additionally, an acknowledgment notice from the Mauritian public HEI, confirming the application for the seat and payment of the appropriate application fees, is required. CONTINUE READING.....
