In the latest development, the Federal Government, operating through the National Social Investment Programmes (NASIMS), has communicated its dedication to initiating payments for nine months' worth of arrears to N-Power beneficiaries. This payment commitment is contingent on the successful conclusion of the ongoing restructuring phase, spearheaded by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation under Betta Edu's leadership.
Advocacy from beneficiaries, notably from Batches B and C affiliated with the All Progressives Congress (APC), has intensified as they await the settlement of their outstanding stipends.
