On Christmas Day, Minister Betta Edu disclosed that the Federal Government has resumed clearing arrears owed to N-Power beneficiaries. Initiated in 2016 by former President Muhammadu Buhari to combat youth unemployment, the program had faced delays under the new administration led by President Bola Tinubu. Minister Edu assured beneficiaries that the payment process is underway, emphasizing the government's commitment to addressing outstanding financial matters.
During an interview on Channels Television's Politics Today, Edu noted that the government had diligently worked through the early hours to ensure owed funds from the last administration reach the accounts of N-Power beneficiaries across the nation.
