Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, echoed this positive development during an interview with Channels Television on the night of Thursday. She assured N-Power beneficiaries nationwide that the payment of arrears, initiated on December 20, will persist until all eligible individuals receive their due compensation.
Edu stated, “Currently, payment for N-Power is in progress; we were working in the office from yesterday until the early hours of this morning, ensuring that young people receive the funds owed to them from the previous government. So, N-Power beneficiaries across the nation, you can confirm that you are witnessing the funds in your accounts, and this process will continue until every deserving individual is paid."
The restructuring of the N-Power scheme stands as a pivotal element in the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration's strategy to mitigate unemployment and create job opportunities within Nigeria.
