Programs Volunteer
CEF is looking for a Programs Volunteer to help develop and implement its comprehensive program strategy. This is a crucial role in the organization, and the ideal candidate will have experience in programmatic support, project management, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
The Programs Volunteer will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive program strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Leading the planning, execution, and evaluation of all programs and projects, ensuring they are completed on time,within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including funders, partners, and community members, to ensure program success and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with program implementation, making adjustments as necessary to achieve program goals.
- Developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems to assess program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistic, social sciences or another related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in programmatic support in organizations projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing and motivating staff.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to think strategically and develop long-term program plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address program challenges.
- Budgeting and financial management experience, including the ability to manage program budgets.
