In a significant update from the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), recent announcements shed light on the current standing of N-Power beneficiaries, particularly concerning pending payments. As of Tuesday, November 28, 2023, NASIMS has officially communicated that Batch A and B beneficiaries are no longer part of the N-Power initiative. This confirmation follows the completion of the four-year tenure for Batch A, which began in September 2016, and the subsequent participation of Batch B, spanning from August 2018 to July 2020. The program emphasized that Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, and Akindele Egbuwalo, the N-Power National Programme Manager, are actively engaged in addressing and resolving payment concerns.
