The Role of a Program Intern
As a Program Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the dynamic field of international development. You will work closely with experienced professionals to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Plan International's programs. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of children and their communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of Plan International's programs
- Conduct research and gather data to support program monitoring and evaluation
- Prepare reports and presentations on program activities and outcomes
- Engage with stakeholders, including community members, government officials, and donors
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and supportive work environment
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in a social science, development, or health-related field
- One to two years of work experience with CSO/NGOs engaging with communities and their stakeholders
- Demonstratable experience in social and development interventions for women and youths
- Knowledge and passion for working in the development sector
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications
