POLAC ANNOUNCES DATES FOR 10th REGULAR COURSE AUTOMATED SCREENING PROCESSES

“We're thrilled to announce the commencement of the Automated Physical/Credential Screening, Computer-Based Test (CBT), Medical Screening, and Board Interview for the 10th Regular Course at the prestigious Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC). The rigorous selection process, scheduled to run from Monday 6th, November to Wednesday 30th, November, 2023, promises to usher in the next generation of dedicated law enforcement officers”. Important Dates and Procedures:

  1. Invitation Slips: Candidates are required to print their invitation slips from the official POLAC website (polac.edu.ng) starting October 21st, 2023. It is imperative that applicants complete their screening on the specified date mentioned in their invitation.

  2. Basic Screening Requirements: Candidates must arrive at the screening center dressed in clean white T-shirts and shorts. They should bring the following mandatory documents neatly arranged in two white flat files, with recent passport photographs attached:

    • Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized Medical Hospital
    • Evidence of good character from the Village/District Head of the applicant
    • Certificate of Origin signed by Local Government Chairman or Secretary
    • National Identity Number (NIN) - Slip Print-out
    • Original and duplicate copies of credentials, including O’ Level Result(s), Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age, and JAMB result print-out
    • Print-out of the application form
    • Duly completed Guarantor’s form
    • Invitation slip
  3. Passing the CBT: Only candidates who successfully pass the Computer-Based Test will proceed to the subsequent stages of the exercise, including Medical Screening and the Board Interview.

A Word of Caution:

We urge all applicants and their parents/guardians to be vigilant and discerning. The Commandant, AIG Sadiq Idris Abubakar PhD, mni, emphasizes the transparency and accountability of the entire screening process. Importantly, he emphasizes that the admission exercise is entirely free-of-charge. Be wary of scammers and individuals seeking to exploit this opportunity for personal gain. Any fraudulent activity will be met with strict legal consequences.
