The Front Desk Officer is a critical role in any organisation, as they are often the first point of contact for visitors and clients. In the context of SFH, the Front Desk Officer will play a vital role in supporting the organisation's mission by providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all visitors and clients have a positive experience.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a university degree in a related field, such as social sciences, behavioral sciences, medical sciences, or a related field of study. They should also have a minimum of one year of working experience post-NYSC, fluency in Hausa language in addition to English language and other local languages, knowledge of SFH's business and core values, strong interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of office management, ability to document and maintain information on program management, and excellent MS Office skills.
The Front Desk Officer will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Receiving visitors, incoming memos/mails, and taking notes during meetings
- Filing/archiving
- Managing petty cash operations
- Administering events/programs
- Inventory management
- Travel management
- Office cleaners management
In addition to these specific tasks, the Front Desk Officer will also be expected to be a team player and to contribute to the overall success of SFH. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and they should be able to manage their time effectively.
