The Nigerian Navy has just unveiled its shortlisted candidates for Batch 35 of the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) recruitment. After interviews held in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Kaduna from August 12 to September 1, 2023, these individuals are now one step closer to proudly serving their nation.

What Candidates Should Bring
Here's a checklist to make sure candidates are well-prepared for their upcoming training:
- NIN Print-out Slip: It's crucial for identification.
- Original and Photocopies of Credentials: Bring your educational qualifications and other certificates.
- BVN Printout: This confirms your identity.
- Navy Blue PT Shorts: Two pairs for physical training.
- White Round Neck Vests: Two pairs, also for physical training.
- White Canvas: Two pairs for physical training.
- Brown Canvas: Two pairs for physical training.
- White Long Sleeve Shirts: Two pairs for your dress code.
- Black Trousers: Two pairs for your dress code.
- Black Ties: Two black ties to complete your outfit.
- Black Shoes: A pair of black shoes for your dress code.
- White Long Socks: Three pairs for your dress code.
- National Dress (Native Wear): Two sets to represent your culture.
- Cutleries: Two sets for personal use.
- Navy Blue Bed Sheets and Blanket: Two sets for your accommodation.
- White Bed Sheets: Two sets for your accommodation.
- Mosquito Net: For a comfortable sleep.
- Toiletries: Don't forget your personal hygiene items.
- WAEC or NECO Scratch Card: If applicable for educational verification.
Parent/Guardian Consent Form
In addition to the items above, candidates must download the Parent/Guardian Consent Form from the official Nigerian Navy website at www.joinnigeriannavy.com. Make sure your parents/guardians sign it, and it's stamped and endorsed by a competent court of law. Don't forget to bring this form on the day you begin your training.
