The NPC has advised Nigerians to disregard any information about recruitment for the Census that is not published on the Commission's official website or social media platforms. Nigerians are also advised to always get the correct information concerning the Commission's activities on the official NPC social media handles and website.

Here are some tips to help you avoid falling victim to fake NPC recruitment exercises:

• Never pay any money to apply for a job at the NPC. All NPC recruitment exercises are free of charge.
• Be wary of any recruitment exercise that is advertised through social media only. The NPC typically announces recruitment exercises through the national media and its official website.
• If you are unsure whether a recruitment exercise is genuine, contact the NPC directly to verify. You can contact the NPC by phone or email, or visit the NPC website.

The NPC is committed to ensuring a transparent and fair recruitment process. The Commission will continue to update the public on developments regarding the conduct of the first digital Population and Housing Census in Nigeria as events unfold.
