Job Role Overview
As a Finance and Operations Advisor at SFH, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of the KP CARE 2 project’s funds and compliance with all relevant laws and policies at the state level. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities, including state project bank management, vendor payments, audits, budgeting, and financial reporting. You will manage Operations, Compliance, Cleaning, and Security staff on the KP CARE 2 project, contributing significantly to the success of our initiatives in Kano and Taraba.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- First Degree in Accounting or related field: A strong educational background in finance and accounting forms the foundation of this role.
- Professional Qualification: Additional certifications such as ACA or ACCA are advantageous and reflect your commitment to excellence.
- Relevant Experience: With a minimum of six years of experience, including progressive responsibilities in financial management, reporting, operations, and office management, you bring valuable expertise to our team.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities are essential for effective decision-making and strategic planning.
- IT Proficiency: Intermediate IT skills, including experience with accounting software, are vital for streamlining financial processes.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills are necessary for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
