GAIN is Hiring a Technical Advisor for Food Systems Transformation
The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is looking for a Technical Advisor to join its team of experts in food systems transformation. This is a critical role in supporting GAIN's mission to advance nutrition outcomes by improving consumption of nutritious and safe food for all people, especially the most vulnerable to malnutrition.
The Technical Advisor will be responsible for providing daily technical oversight and support throughout the project lifecycles of two large multi-country multi-sectoral impact evaluations. This includes leading the development of programme impact pathways, refining research questions and methodologies, reviewing research plans and protocols, and interacting with partners and contractors as needed to carry out the activities. The Technical Advisor will also support in-country field implementation of research, evaluation, learning, and knowledge management activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, evaluation, and food systems. They will also have experience working in multi-country and multi-sectoral settings. In addition, they will be able to demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
