President Tinubu has new appointments for Chief Medical Directors (CMDs) at 11 federal medical centres. President Tinubu has made these appointments for a four-year term, and the appointments have been approved by the federal government. The CMDs received their appointment letters from the Ministry of Health's permanent secretary, Kachollom Daju. 

This move could have significant implications for the healthcare management and services provided at these medical centres.

In her address, Daju congratulated the appointees and emphasized the importance of working with health workers and stakeholders as a team.

She also urged the new CMDs to prioritize creating a conducive work environment and infrastructure to ensure a high standard of healthcare.
