The 2023 Batch 'B' Stream I deployment has been released. The orientation course will commence on July 12, 2023. Prospective Corps Members can check their deployment status on the NYSC website.
Here are some important dates to remember:
- Orientation course: July 12 - August 1, 2023
- Registration cut-off: July 13, 2023
- Swearing-in ceremony: July 14, 2023
- Closing ceremony: August 1, 2023
Prospective Corps Members are advised to report to their respective camps as per their Call-up Letters. They should bring with them the following documents:
- Call-up Letter
- Original and photocopies of academic certificates
- Original and photocopies of National Identification Card (NIN)
- Original and photocopies of birth certificate
- Medical certificate
- Yellow fever vaccination card
NYSC also advises against night journeys to the camps and recommends breaking journeys if going beyond 6:00 pm. Parents and wards are advised to be security conscious and avoid unregistered vehicles and travelling at night.
Anyone failing to report for service or presenting false documents can face legal consequences.
