Nasims Interactive Session With Npower Batch C Beneficiaries

Nasims recently held an interactive session with Npower Batch C beneficiaries to answer questions about the program. Some of the most common questions asked were about the status of the C1 program, payment continuation, the payment date for outstanding payments, the fate of unpaid C1 beneficiaries, the position of Batch C beneficiaries who received a pre-selection message, and who should have their accounts validated.

Nasims responded to these questions as follows:

  • The C1 program officially ended in August 2022. The additional payments received for September, October, and November were part of the Nexit package, which was a goodwill gesture from H.M. Sadiya Umar Faroug.
  • The continuation of the Npower program is at the discretion of the President. Nasims has not yet been given confirmation of the program's status, so they cannot give a definitive answer to this question.
  • The payment date for outstanding payments is also unknown. Funds for these payments have not yet been approved by the new administration. Once funds are approved, payments will be initiated.
  • C1 beneficiaries who have not yet received their additional payments for September, October, and November will definitely get their payments once funds are approved and made available.
  • Pre-selected beneficiaries are supplementary to C2. These beneficiaries should adhere strictly to the instructions contained in the message they received and then wait for further directives.
  • The account validation link was sent to C2 beneficiaries whose account details were not correctly captured in the payroll and database. However, C1 beneficiaries who are having payment issues can also utilize this opportunity.

Nasims hopes that this summary of the interactive session will answer some of the questions that beneficiaries have about the Npower program. They will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

In addition to the questions answered in the interactive session, here are some other things to keep in mind about the Npower program:

  • The program is designed to provide job opportunities and training for young Nigerians.
  • Beneficiaries receive a monthly stipend of N30,000.
  • The program is currently in its third phase, with Batch C being the most recent.
  • The status of the program after Batch C is still unknown.
