IN LINE WITH NCC DIRECTIVES ALL NETWORKS IN NIGERIA SHOULD MERGE AND USED THE SAME CODES FOR VARIOUS TRANSACTIONs are

 All networks in Nigeria has changed the following codes 

  • 1.Checking balance code 
  • 2.Recharge code 
  • 3.Call center code 
  • 4.Data plans code 
  • 5.Borrow airtime or data code 
  • 6.Share data code 
  • 7.VAS code subscription/manage 
  • 8.General code 

The company have changed its codes inline with the Nigerian communication commission NCC rules for uniform codes other network like Airtel, 9mobile and Glo will soon start using this codes


This is the new MTN Nigeria codes for their services 

1. All networks inNigeria new Checking balance code:

 To check your account balance, dial *310#

2. New code To recharge MTN AIRTEL AND GLO : 

To recharge using pins, dial *311#

3. ALL NETWORKS Nigeria new Data plans code: 

To subscribe to our juicy data plans, dial *312#

4.  Nigeria new Data balance code: 

To check your data balance, dial *323#

5. Borrow service code: 

To borrow airtime or data dial *303#

6. Data share/transfer code:

 To share data, dial *321#

7. Manage VAS code: 

To manage your active value added service (VAS)

subscriptions and check out new VAS, dial *305#

8. Call center code: 

To call our call centre, dial 300. 

9. NIN service:

 for National indentity Number service dial *996# 

10. General code: 

The single code you should remember? Dial *301#

Simply dial any of this codea to perform the transactions you want or if you have forgotten the code just dial the old code an error message will pop up on your screen and the new codes will listed then choose the code you want and dial it to perform your transaction.
