NPC CENSUS 2023: Important News About 2023 Census Today 6th July, 2023.

Tinubu will personally announce the new dates for the national population and housing census, which was previously postponed in April 2023.

Nasir Kwarra, the Chairman of the National Population Commission (NPC), revealed this information to State House Correspondents following a detailed briefing with the President at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Kwarra also mentioned that the Commission has submitted its report to the President, who will examine it in order to make an informed decision on when the census will take place across the country. 

He further mentioned that the Commission may need additional financial support, as the longer the delay, the higher the likelihood of increased financial requirements. 

"We provided him with a comprehensive update on our preparedness and expected outcomes. I would like to mention that Mr. President has graciously approved to assist the Commission in conducting the census and our preliminary activities. 

While we are not facing any significant obstacles, his support is greatly appreciated," Kwarra stated.
