NIGERIAN IMMIGRATION SERVICE STRENGTHEN ITS COLLABORATION WITH INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MIGRATION
The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) had the honor of hosting a delegation from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), today Tuesday, 4th July 2023, at its headquarters in Abuja.
Led by Mr. Laurent DeBoeck, the Chief of Mission, the delegation engaged in a productive working visit, which further deepened the engagement between NIS and IOM.
The delegation was received by the Ag. Comptroller General of Immigration, Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju fsi, pcc+. During the meeting, a wide range of crucial topics were addressed, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in areas such as capacity building, and fostering stronger synergy between NIS and IOM.
The visit concluded on a positive note, with both NIS and IOM expressing their commitment to nurturing this partnership and translating the discussed ideas into concrete actions.
