Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Physical Screening and Psychometric Evaluation

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) is currently conducting a physical screening and psychometric evaluation for applicants who applied for the 2023 recruitment exercise. The physical screening is being conducted at designated centers across the country, and the psychometric evaluation is being conducted online.

Physical Screening

The physical screening is a two-step process. In the first step, applicants are required to present their original and photocopy of their National Identification Number (NIN) card, original and photocopy of their academic certificates, original and photocopy of their birth certificate, two passport-size photographs, and a white T-shirt and shorts. In the second step, applicants are required to undergo a height and weight check, as well as a medical examination. Applicants who fail the physical screening will be disqualified from the recruitment exercise.

Psychometric Evaluation

The psychometric evaluation is a computer-based test that measures the applicant's cognitive abilities, personality traits, and suitability for the job. The test is designed to assess the applicant's ability to learn, think critically, and solve problems. The test also assesses the applicant's personality traits, such as their conscientiousness, agreeableness, and emotional stability. The test is scored on a scale of 1 to 100, and applicants who score below a certain threshold will be disqualified from the recruitment exercise.

Next Steps

Applicants who successfully pass the physical screening and psychometric evaluation will be invited for the interview stage. The interview stage will be conducted at designated centers across the country. Applicants who successfully pass the interview stage will be shortlisted for the final selection. The final selection will be conducted by a panel of experts.

How to Check if You Have Been Shortlisted

Applicants can check if they have been shortlisted for the physical screening and psychometric evaluation by visiting the NIS website  https://im.cdcfib.career/  and entering their application code and phone number. Applicants who have been shortlisted will be required to print out their invitation letter and bring it with them to the physical screening and psychometric evaluation.

Good luck!

The Nigeria Immigration Service is a prestigious organization, and the competition for a job with the NIS is fierce. However, if you are a qualified and motivated individual, you have a good chance of being successful in the recruitment process. I wish you all the best in your application!
