NPC to begin enumerators and supervisors training soon.

NPC fixed Training Date for Enumerators and Supervisors start from 29th March, 2023 to 2nd April, 2023.

The NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerators and Supervisors have been eager to know the Training Date for the LGA Level Training meant to prepare them for the 2023 Population and Housing Census Exercise.

In view of that, there has been speculative message being circulated online which claims that the NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerators and Supervisors Training would begin from 1st March, 2023.

However, a contact made to the National Populations Commission has declared such information as false.

The NPC confirmed that a proposal seeking for the schedule of the LGA Level Training for Enumerators and Supervisors is in its presence, but the commission is yet to fix a new date for the LGA Level Training.

Before LGA Level Training commences, there must be an Invitation from the National Population Commission sent to the successful Enumerators and Supervisors to prepare ahead of the Training Schedule.

Recall the Director of Census, National Population Commission, Mrs Evelyn Arinola Olanipekun had earlier announced that the LGA Level Training for Enumerators and Supervisors previously scheduled to begin on Monday 6th February, 2023, would no longer hold as planned.

Mrs Olanipekun however advised that Trainers and Trainees should maintain communication on their respective class WhatsApp platforms, because every Trainer and Trainees will have to continue with the self leaning sessions and a virtual classroom training will be organized shortly before the LGA level training.

The National Population Commission (NPC), in readiness for the 2023 Population and Housing Census Exercise, has planned out to train the Enumerators and Supervisors NPC Adhoc Staff in February, 2023.

The NPC made this known while responding to enquiries on the Commision's activities as it gears towards the Person's enumeration scheduled to hold from 29th March, 2023 to 2nd April, 2023.

According to the NPC, the Enumerators and Supervisors Training commencement Date is 6th February, 2023.

The Commission's Revised Census Calender for the 2023 Census Exercise has indicated that the Enumerators and Supervisors Training will be at a Local Government Level, and will last for 5days, ending on 10th February, 2023.

Recall that the NPC had shortlisted, and currently rounding off the training organised for Specialised WorkForce, and Facilitators who would in turn train the Enumerators and Supervisors in their respective LGAs.

While the Screening of the Enumerators and Supervisors which commenced on 16th January, 2022 has interred with the NPC's plan to enrol them on E-Learning, which is usually followed by NPC Quiz and NPC Final Exam, it is indicative that the Commision would revisit the stage during the LGA based Training.

The Commision had earlier scheduled to enrol the Enumerators and Supervisors on the E-Learning Class Room from 23rd January 2023 to 28th January, 2023 but the Screening of the numerous Enumerator and Supervisor Adhoc Staff Applicants has taken more time than planned.

As at the moment, the Enumerators and Supervisor are on the Screening exercise being conductec within the Applicants LGAs.

The final list of Enumerators and Supervisors NPC Adhoc Staff who would be trained for the 2023 Population and Housing Census Exercise, would be released before 6th February 2023.

NPC Adhoc Staff Applicants who applied as Enumerators and Supervisors should note that the final lists of Enumerators and Supervisors are not yet out. Any list that claims to to be list of Enumerators and Supervisors is Fake.

The successful NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerators and Supervisors who passed the NPC Adhoc Staff Screening, will be invited via Text Message, for the 5 days LGA Level Training.
