Another Northern Leader Suspended For Sponsoring Bandits.


Recently, Governor Matawalle suspended Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (Emir of Zurmi) over his alleged involvement in banditry.


The suspension came after the attack on Kadawa village in which about 90 persons were allegedly killed by bandits.

Kabiru Balarabe (Head of Service and Acting Secretary to the Zamfara State Government) stated that the governor also set up a committee to investigate the allegations.


Balarabe noted that the committee has Malam Ibrahim Wakkala (A former deputy governor in the state) as the Chairman.


Atiku Speaks About "Koo".


The former Vice President of Nigeria (Atiku Abubakar) has denied owing or opening an account with the Indian social media company (Koo).


In a statement released on Saturday and signed by his media aide (Paul Ibe), Atiku called on the general public to disregard the Koo account been bandied around in his name adding that it was ‘fake’.

Atiku further disclosed that all his social media handles are verified and have been running for a couple of years.

Hoodlums Kidnap A Lady At Her Mother’s Funeral.


A lady whose mother was to be buried on Friday, has been kidnapped by hoodlums.

The victim, whose name is Oluchi Ezirim was a native of Ogwa in Mbaitoli Local Government Area (Imo State).


An eyewitness said that the victim was in the burial entourage alongside some members of the family when the hoodlums attacked them and whisked her away.


Security Operatives Takes Over The Protest Ground In Lagos.


Security operatives on Saturday surrounded the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota (Lagos State) where Nigerian youths planned to stage the 12th June protest.

According to some reports, three Vehicles and two armoured tanks were spotted at the scene.

A further report had it that security operatives hindered three people from accessing the park.


However, the Lagos State Police Command had earlier stated it is unaware of any planned protests by any group/groups on June 12 Democracy Day.
