Buhari Approves New Selection Process
Recently, President Muhammadu Buhari approved the process to select 5 "permanent secretaries" that will replace the retired ones in some states across the nation (Ekiti, Katsina, Nasarawa, Enugu and Lagos States).

Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan (Head of the Civil Service of the Federation) disclosed this information in a statement released by Mr AbdulGaniyu Aminu (Director of Press and Public Relations, office of the HOCSF).
According to Yemi-Esan, 47 candidates have been cleared to sit for a written examination to fill the five vacant positions of those permanent secretaries.
Usman Baba Reacts To Attahiru's Death.
The Acting Inspector General of Police, Mr Usman Baba has described Ibrahim Attahiru (late Chief of Army Staff) as an excellent partner in the fight against insecurity.

A statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Mr Frank Mba, quoted Baba saying that Attahiru’s demise was particularly painful because he died while on a patriotic mission.
He condoled with President Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigeria Armed Forces as well as families and friends of the late COAS.

Hoodlums Kills Nine In Benue State.
Unidentified Hoodlums have killed nine persons during an attack at Agan community in Makurdi Local Government Area of Benue on Friday.

One of the locals, Terkimbi Shom told "News Agency of Nigeria" on Saturday that nobody knew where the attackers came from.
However, Police Spokesman in Benue, DSP Sewuese Anene, confirmed the attack.
Nigerian Youths Are Responsible For Bad Governance-Tunde Bakare.
Pastor Tunde Bakare, the General Overseer of CGCC (Citadel Global Community Church) on Saturday said that some youths are responsible for Nigeria’s current woes.
Bakare said these youths were once trusted with power but they messed up the system in Nigeria.

He said the older generation of leaders are not responsible for the country’s woes but youths who were once entrusted with power.
Bakare made this statement in a programme organized by "Legacy Youth Fellowship" in Lagos.
The clergyman charged the present Nigerian youths to be determined and focus in ensuring that the dream of Nigeria’s founding fathers becomes a reality.
