1. Man Kills Roommate & Sell The Body Parts To Pastor In Bayelsa
34-year-old Okpegboro Avwerosuo who hails from Ughelli North, Delta State, has allegedly killed his roommate in Sagbama Town, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. He was also said to have sold the vital organs of the deceased to a pastor who is currently at large for ritual purposes.
2. 5 Arrested For Attempting To Burn Police Station In Imo
The five hoodlums or unknown gunmen who attempted to burn down Orji Police Station In Imo State today has been arrested by the Imo State Police Command. The SP Elkana said the whole area was cordoned off and five suspects, who include Chigaemezu Sabastine, Casmir Ibe, John Chinonso, Chukwudi Okoro and Alozie Daberechi were arrested.
Recall that the unknown gunmen has caused a lot of reactions today on social media after they stormed Orji Police Station In Imo State with guns in a black colored car. They were seen in several videos brandishing their guns on the street of Owerri.

An officer identified as Idi Aminu has mistakenly detonated a grenade bomb in Afikpo town of Afikpo North Local Government, Ebonyi State today. This was disclosed by police spokesperson under the Ebonyi State Police Command, Maddam Loveth Odah in Abakaliki today, to debunked the rumor that has been going round that a suicide bomber detonated himself today.
4. Photos: Zulum Orders Deployment as Borno Acquires N1.4 Billion Heavy Duty Construction Machines
Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has ordered immediate use as the state took delivery of 18 heavy duty road construction machinery worth N1.4 billion.
The equipment include four excavators, two pilling machines, eight driving rollers and graders, and two bulldozers imported to boost the capacity of resident engineers working with the state government and undertaking series of infrastructural works. Governor Zulum was on Monday evening at an asphalt factory located along Maiduguri-Bama road to inspect the newly acquired machinery.
The Governor directed immediate deployment of the machines to accelerate ongoing construction works at different locations across the state. The Governor charged the state’s Ministry of Works which is custodian of the machines to ensure proper maintenance such that the equipment remain functional.
Commissioner of works, Arch. Yerima Saleh, who received Zulum at the asphalt said the newly acquired machines would significantly enhance the capacity of engineers both at the ministry of works and at the state Road Maintenance Agency to deliver ongoing projects on time without compromising quality; noting that the equipment are suitable for high level infrastructure.
