EFCC Arrested A Yahoo Girl After Flaunting Her New Car (Photo)

Okiemute Oghenekpaobo Deborah, a Benue State University Makurdi undergraduate, was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission just one day after flaunting a car on Facebook.

According to EFCC records, Okiemute was arrested in Makurdi, Benue State, on Saturday, May 1, 2021, along with three other people as members of an internet fraud syndicate.

Following an intelligence report on their suspected illegal activities in and around Makurdi metropolis, the suspects, Gideon Damisa, Sunday James, Friday Ebosele, and Okiemute Deborah, were apprehended by Commission operatives.

Gideon Damisa, the main suspect, was arrested with a Mercedes Benz GLK 350 2010 model, one iPhone, two Pro Max phones, two Infinix phones, and ATM cards, among other things. On their website, the EFCC also reported that Okiemute and other suspects who are members of the syndicate will be charged in court soon.

Following the Efcc post, Okiemute' s Facebook fans expressed their opinions on the subject on her page.
