Yahoo Boy: I withdraw money from any bank account, Suspect, - Watch the video

I am into local scam, i do SIM transactions which is called local scam, I can move money from people's bank accounts once I have access to the sim card they use to receive message alerts from the bank- nabbed Yoruba suspect tells security operatives.

A Yoruba man who is believed to be a crime suspect has told security interrogators that he is into local frauding and he narrated how he can collect money from someone's bank account once he has access to the person's cell phone.

In a video now on social media, the suspect who was speaking in Yoruba language was seen explaining how he defrauds people of their money to security operatives during an interrogation.

While speaking, he claimed to be into local fraud, he said he does "local wire" which he referred to as SIM transactions. When asked about how he carries out this fraudulent act, he narrated that when he collects people's cell phone, he will firstly dial a code to check the bank the person is using, then dial another code to check the person's bank account balance. 

While explaining he said, most people save their accounts numbers in their phone contacts, I just need their account number and their date of birth to reset their bank transfer pin. Once I see their account number, I check for their BVN through dial codes(*565*0#) and then use their BVN to verify their date of birth, he said.

He explained that he will reset their bank transfer pin and now start doing transfer from the person's bank account. 

When asked that what if there was no money in the victims bank account, he responded saying if it is a salary account he was going to borrow money, N20,000, N15,000 or N5,000 depending on the account's ability to borrow.

When asked by another interrogator that so he can transfer from his bank account now if he is given the SIM card he uses to receive alert from the bank, he replied yes. 

He further asked him where he transfer all the money to, he replied saying, I do open untraceable bank accounts, I do use another person's BVN number to open a bank account, an account i can withdraw from.

Once I push the money to the person's account the bank will go after the person and not me, he explained. I can do it now for you to confirm it, he further explained.

This is a serious fraudulent security breach and the appropriate authorities need to take necessary steps to stop this. we are advised to stop saving our account numbers on our phones and also stop giving your phones to strangers if you are not there to supervise their activities.

Imagine being defrauded by an unknown person, imagine the number of people he has scammed and the many more people he would have scammed if the transaction that led to his arrest has not gone wrong. such a cruel act, this is infact local yahoo.
