Kannywood: Halima Atete is A Successful Actress And Film Producer

Halima Atete is a very talented Nigerian actress and film producer in the Kannywood also one of the celebrities that are making the industry moving.

The beautiful actress was born in Maiduguri the capital of Borno state, she attended her primary and secondary school both in Borno state thereafter she proceeded and studied Shariah and Civil law in Mohammed Goni College of legal and islamic studies. Her passion for acting started developing ever since she was in the Yerwa Girls Secondary School.

Whenever the school have visitors she was among the girls that were selected by the pricipal to dance or perform a stage drama, so even after completing secondary school the passion remained in her. That build a strong desire in her to take acting as a career.

After completing College of legal studies she mate with a film director and told him her ambition to produce a film. The film director invited some actors that joined her to cast a film which she featured as the star actress. She forwarded the film for editing then it was finally taken to the market and it was a huge success. Impressed by her performance in the first acting major film producers started inviting her to come and take part in their films.

Halima Atete says that "I plays the role of a violent woman but in real life l am peaceful." It is just the way you watch a king in a movie that doesn't make him a king in the real life or you watch a governor in the movie that doesn't make him a governor in the real life.

 

The actress have no choice when it comes to the role that she would play in film except the role is offensive to her religion or culture that is where she would reject it.
